Welcome to the 2022-23 School Year! I hope we have a wonderfully, engaging school year! I use this blog to share many things with you: homework, handouts, rubrics, and resources. I created this blog BEFORE Schoology so there are many resources here that may not be on Schoology. There are resources in Schoology that are not here. Be nimble, flexible and use tools to increase communication and most importantly understanding of the content. Let's get it y'all! Your Teacher, Ms. Guy

American Literature period 1 What does freedom mean?
1. https://www.yahoo.com/news/man-pardoned-freed-spending-nearly-161602354.html
After watching the video above, reflect on those "little things" that freedom means. What does freedom mean to you? Write a ONE PAGE Reflection IN YOUR NEATEST HANDWRITING. Please use vocabulary from class.
2. Who is your poster-child of freedom? Think of someone: a leader, celebrity, politician, entertainer, anyone that you associate with freedom. Print out an image of that person large enough to share with your peers.
3. Review your notes on the Puritans, and Sinners in the Hands of An Angry God for a short reading quiz tomorrow.
