1. Ten sentences using academic VERBS from the Verbs to Use Instead of SAYS sheet, or verbs from the board. The best sentences will use the verbs authentically. For example:
This week, I reflected on my progress in my classes for Parent/Teacher Conference.
2. Complete or view one of the videos on NOUNS or Pronouns.
3. Quiz corrections (if your quiz was returned)
4. Rough draft of two-three pages on your essay, "What Is An American?"

1. Finish reading your Article of the Week.
2. Complete your SOAPS using THREE Subject; THREE PURPOSES (purposes should begin with academic verbs in their "to" form.
3. Construct an academic summary regarding your self selected article of the week.
4. Read, highlight and annotate the Preamble and the Bill of Rights. Select 2-3 rights that are most important or valued by you.
