AP English Literature per. 3 Oedipus Questions
Answer the following:
Directions: Answer the following questions based on your reading and re-reading of Oedipus
1. What three "blights" have fallen on the city
2. Oedipus gives a practical set of reasons why he should seek out the murder. List one of the three reasons he gives.
3. What public proclamation or call does Oedipus make to the people of Thebes reminiscent of "crime stoppers"?
4. What does Oedipus declare as punishment for Laius murderer? What events is this murderer forbidden to take part in it?
