1. Re-read the Langston Hughes poem, "Let America Be America Again" on page 39 of the Springboard unit. Mark and annotate and find a sentence or two that resonate with you.
2. Answer questions 1-4 (pg 41) about the poem on your own paper. then write a reflection of at least a paragraph: How does the poem by Langston Hughes reflect experiences of many of the groups in Monday's Activity?
3. Write another paragraph from A MODE YOU HAVE NOT TRIED YET from the Expository modes: Narration; Description; Process; Definition; Compare; Contrast, Exemplification; or Negation.
