Period 1: Carefully read the short essay "Address On the Occasion of 50th Anniversary of The Statue of Liberty" by Franklin D. Roosevelt (pg 10-11). It is included in the Study Sync Unit #1 under Class Readings and Handouts, so you MUST STILL READ even if you were absent!!!! After Reading, answer questions 1-3 on the back of the handout (page 11) Second Read.
